Find the citation that doesn't hold up before anyone else does.

Before a manuscript goes to a journal or a client, check every cited statement against the PDF it cites, and keep the evidence for the questions that follow.

Why citation errors survive to submission

Drafts change, references move and statements get reworded. A citation that was right in the first draft can stop matching its source three drafts later.

Rechecking every citation by hand before submission is slow, so it is often done in part, or not at all.

A full check, in the time a spot check takes

  1. Add the final draft and its references. RefPack finds each cited statement, including citations to several references at once.
  2. Start an AI search, or go through by hand. Each statement is lined up with the passage that best supports it.
  3. Work through what needs attention. Filter to Partly supported, Not supported and No passage found, and fix the manuscript where you need to.
  4. Keep the record. Create a pack to answer reviewer queries with the passage, not from memory.

What you have at the end

  • Every cited statement checked, with the passages behind it
  • A short list of statements to correct before you submit
  • An evidence table you can return to when a reviewer asks
  • A dated receipt showing which version you checked

Questions

Does RefPack change my manuscript?

No. RefPack shows you what to correct; you make the changes in your own document.

What about statements without citations?

RefPack checks cited statements only. Uncited claims are outside what it reviews.
